CapitaLand Ascott Trust said on Aug, 26 2026 that it has utilised 237.1 million Singapore dollars of the 303.1 million Singapore dollars raised in its 2023 equity fund-raising programme.
Of the funds deployed, 170.2 million Singapore dollars were used to partly finance the purchase consideration of previously announced acquisitions, 19.9 million Singapore dollars went to the renovation of Citadines Holborn-Covent Garden London and 24.4 million Singapore dollars were applied to debt repayment.
The trust has spent 4.4 million Singapore dollars on the planned extension and renovation of Novotel Sydney Central. In addition, 13.3 million Singapore dollars have been channelled to the renovation and rebranding of The Cavendish London, including 5.6 million Singapore dollars disbursed since May, 15 2026.
Professional and other expenses linked to the 2023 equity fund-raising amounted to 4.9 million Singapore dollars, below the initially earmarked 5.8 million Singapore dollars.
CapitaLand Ascott Trust said about 66.0 million Singapore dollars of the proceeds remain unutilised and that it will provide further updates when material amounts are deployed.
