Top Education Group Shares Surge Over 100% on Student Enrollment Growth and High Tuition Revenue Dependence

The stock of TOP EDUCATION (HKEX: 01752) experienced a dramatic surge of more than 106% at one point during the trading session.

As of the latest update, the shares are holding onto a gain of 84.78%, trading at HK$0.17 with a turnover of HK$46.8874 million.

The significant upward move follows the company's recent financial report covering the six months ended December 31, 2025.

The results showed revenue of A$17.057 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 6.5%.

Profit attributable to the company's owners reached A$1.797 million, marking a growth of 12.9% compared to the same period last year.

Basic earnings per share were reported at 0.082 Australian cents.

According to the company's announcement, the increase in revenue was primarily due to a net effect of higher student enrollment, which was partially offset by a reduction in other service fees.

A key detail from the report highlights the overwhelming reliance on tuition fees, which accounted for 94.0% of the group's total revenue.

Other service fees constituted approximately 6.0% of the revenue stream.
