China Life Reports 228.6% Surge in First-Half Net Profit to 134.48 Billion Yuan

Financial front-line news on August 27 revealed that China Life Insurance Company Limited announced its operating revenue for the first half of 2026 reached 434.307 billion yuan, marking an 81.5% year-on-year increase.

Net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company totaled 134.489 billion yuan, a significant jump of 228.6% compared to the 40.931 billion yuan recorded during the same period in 2025.

After deducting non-recurring gains and losses, net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company stood at 134.56 billion yuan, reflecting a 228.1% year-on-year growth.
