AAC Tech Buys Back 200,000 Shares, Treasury Stock Rises to 43.86 Million

On 26 August 2026, AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. (AAC Tech) reported a share repurchase of 200,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were acquired at prices ranging from HKD 40.02 to HKD 40.50, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 40.29 per share, bringing the total cash outlay to HKD 8.06 million.

Following the transaction, outstanding shares (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.02% to 1.15465 billion, while treasury shares increased to 43.86 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 1.19850 billion, as the repurchased shares are being held in treasury rather than cancelled.

The buy-back falls under the mandate approved on 21 May 2026, which authorises AAC Tech to repurchase up to 116.18 million shares. Cumulative buy-backs under this mandate now stand at 7.13 million shares, representing 0.61% of the company’s issued share capital on the mandate’s approval date.

In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, AAC Tech is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares, effective until 25 September 2026.
