MicroPort CardioFlow Medtech Corporation (MP CardioFlow) announced a comprehensive leadership realignment effective 26 August 2026.

• Chief Executive Officer: Chen Guoming, previously Board Chairman and a non-executive director, has been re-designated as an executive director and appointed CEO. He exits the Audit Committee and joins the Nomination Committee. Chen signed a three-year service agreement that carries no director’s fee; remuneration will be reviewed annually by the Remuneration Committee and the Board. He currently holds 1.78 million ordinary shares of the company.

• Chairman of the Board: Dr. Brian Chang, formerly a non-executive director, assumes the chairmanship. He moves from the Nomination Committee to the Audit Committee.

• President: Zhang Ruinian steps down as CEO and becomes President while retaining his executive directorship and seats on the Strategy and Commercialization Committees.

The reshuffle separates the roles of chairman and CEO in line with Corporate Governance Code Provision C.2.1.

Board-level committee changes: – Audit Committee: Dr. Brian Chang joins; Chen Guoming departs. – Nomination Committee: Chen Guoming joins; Dr. Brian Chang departs.

Key profiles: • Zhang Ruinian, 62, brings over two decades of cardiovascular and med-tech management experience, with prior senior roles at Jenscare Scientific and Corcym Medical Technology. • Chen Guoming, 41, has more than 15 years’ expertise in valve-device R&D and holds over 100 invention patents. He joined the MP CardioFlow Group in 2010. • Dr. Brian Chang, 34, a physician-scientist and engineer, has led R&D initiatives within the MicroPort® Group since 2025 and holds an MD from Harvard Medical School and a PhD from MIT.

Following these changes, MP CardioFlow’s Board comprises three executive directors (Chen Guoming, Zhang Ruinian, Philippe Wanstok), two non-executive directors (Brian Chang, Deng Aoyi) and four independent non-executive directors (Jonathan H. Chou, Sun Zhixiang, Hu Bingshan, Mao Junxiang).
