MUYUAN acquired 56,100 H shares on-market at prices ranging between HKD 33.36 and HKD 33.84, translating to a volume-weighted average price of HKD 33.6199. The transaction cost totaled HKD 1.89 million and represents 0.0181% of the company’s issued H-share capital (excluding treasury shares) as of 25 August 2026.
Post-transaction, the number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) fell from 310.11 million to 310.05 million, while treasury shares rose from 113,800 to 169,900. The company’s total issued share count remains unchanged at 310.22 million, as repurchased shares are held in treasury.
The buyback forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 13 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 31.02 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 169,900 shares, equivalent to 0.0548% of the issued share base on the mandate’s approval date. MUYUAN is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 25 September 2026.
The board confirmed that the repurchase complied with all relevant Hong Kong Listing Rules and regulatory requirements.
