President Donald Trump announced on X on August 27 that Micron Technology, one of the "HOTTEST" companies in the world, will invest $10 billion in new research labs in the United States. Trump said the investment, combined with Micron's previous $250 billion commitment, will create tens of thousands of American jobs.

In his post, Trump wrote: "GREAT NEWS! Micron, one of the 'HOTTEST' Companies in the World, just announced a MASSIVE 10 BILLION DOLLAR Investment in new Research Labs right here in America. They are keeping us at the absolute forefront of A.I. and Advanced Computing!" He added that the company's total commitment of $250 billion, along with this new investment, would generate "over tens of thousands of Great American Jobs."

Trump attributed the investment to his policies, stating that "because of our Great Policies, Companies are investing TRILLIONS." He congratulated Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra and declared that "America will lead the way to a new Golden Age of Science." The president concluded: "The Golden Age of America is HERE."
