Health-care companies fell as traders rotated out of high-risk biotech stocks.

Revolution Medicines shares rose after the biotech firm received commercial approval from the Food and Drug Administration for a pancreatic cancer pill touted by former Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse as a "miracle drug" during his treatment.

A cyberattack at medical-device maker Boston Scientific triggered a global outage of key operational technology, leaving the company unable to fill orders.
